Bali Reogan Madiun Group meeting in March 16 2008 was slightly different from other meetings, because usually the meeting will be a preach about human relationship with God, but this time, the meeting was filled with the human relationship with the environment. Mrs. Supari one of the Reogan members as known by other members had been interviewed by Tokoh tabloid (Bali local tabloid published once a week) for her experience to manage the household's waste. She said that "when in Rome, do Romans" which a pearl wisdom from Mrs. Supari because she was not indigenous Balinese. She had been living in Bali for 25 years and willing to give Bali the best. The way to give it to Bali is joined to waste management in household partnership with PPLH Bali. Assisted by two officers of PPLH Bali, Mrs. Supari explained how to manage waste easily and simple. Started from her kitchen, Mrs. Supari had separated her garbage into two different types; organic garbage and anorganic waste. Organic waste collected and made for compost in a bamboo bin, every single day the food remains, garden cuttings or flowers were collected in the compost bin. With mixing and stirring the waste regularly and arrange for its humidity in the 30 days the compost is ready to be used in her garden. In front of 50 Reogan members, Mrs. Supari expertly demonstrated how to make the compost. "Only with spirit and willingness to minimise garbages that destoy the environment, let's we start from our own family," Mrs. Supari said.
