Environmental education is PPLH Bali effort to enlarge the society knowledge of environment. This is also expected to increase the society awareness, care, and responsibility in exploiting and maintaining the environment.

In empowerment society, PPLH Bali is not only concern on environmental conservation and local cultural wisdom, but also increase society standard of leaving in economic way. So that the purpose of PPLH Bali to build prosperous society with continuously environment management done success.

RUNNING PROGRAM

Green Scholl
This program has been starting in 2002. The target program is Elementary School Student that is introducing environment to early age school student as the main purpose.
The schools as the partnership of the Green School program are hoping to have a good capability in maintaining the school environment. With the result that the school could be the educating place, which have great concern on environment and also could produce health, smart, and cultured young generations.. In program process, Green Scholl is divine into two:

1. Green School, the partnership school in this program are Elementary Schools in Denpasar - Bali with the length time program 1 year each school. The team of PPLH Bali regularly come to each school two hours  a week to give an environmental lesson through extracurricular or local (muatan lokal)
2. Safari Green School program has a short length time program with the students of Elementary School, Junior High School and Senior High School in Bali as the target program. The team of PPLH Bali will have only one time visit to each school to give an environmental lesson.

Green Team.
The members of Green Team are the students of Junior High School, Senior High School, and University. This group will learn and share experiences about any topic, such us: water pollutant, air pollutant, soil pollutant, forest, sea, and any other topic related in environment. The objective of this program is to build the young generations that have good responsibility and have active role in environmental conserving.

Organik Farming
Due to the dangerous effect of chemical using in farming treatment that happen presently, PPLH Bali promoting an organic farming through workshop and partnership. Chemical using in farming treatment is not only giving bad impact for human health and environment but also trap the farmer in bad condition of depending on chemical producer. 

Alternative Farming Technique
Due to the lack of area, living in a crowded city has the difficulty problem in agriculture. However, using special techniques, ferticultur system for instance, limited area could use for farming.
PPLH Bali is developing system for alternative farming technique for limited area so that urban society could took an advantage of their limited area to plant any kind of herb, fruit, vegetable, and flower. Reuse used things, as the planting media is another way to make use trash as the part of 3R trash treatment (Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle)

House Waste Management
PPLH Bali invites people to recognize and manage waste properly by doing 3R trash treatment and separating trash between organic and inorganic, composting, and any other positive things.
Waste management is starting from small part (Household) to middle part by building Depot as trash management place to manage trash from people with special capacity in special location.
